Mountain Top Youth Camp is operated as a nonprofit Christian organization located on 180+ wooded acres of the northwest slope of Sauratown Mountain near Pinnacle, NC. Since 1964, MTYC has provided Christian youth programs and spring and fall retreats with the purpose of winning youth to Christ, encouraging deeper spiritual commitment and maturity, and demonstrating that the Christian life can be one of meaningful fulfillment.
MTYC is governed by a board of directors comprised of individuals representing approximately fifty nondenominational assemblies, including Shannon Hills Bible Chapel, located throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Each year there is a Summer Staff of twelve to fifteen individuals in addition to a staff of approximately fourteen counselors and a speaker for each of seven camp weeks.
As a member of Christian Camping International, MTYC is committed to bringing a safe, healthy, and clean environment to every camper and guest. A lodge with a large assembly room and dining hall, camper and staff cabins, scenic mountainside deck, game room, snack shack, and a unique spring-fed swimming pool are just a part of the exceptional facilities.
